寺ケ池 後編

現在も25haの農地に水を供給する現役
寺ケ池は、市域で最も大きいため池です。江戸時代に新田開発で築造されました🤗大規模 な事業となり、完成によって農業の発展と食糧増産に大きく貢献しました。現在、連合井堰という3つの水利組合が連携して施設を管理することで、農業用水が安定的に 供給されている本市の歴史的価値のある農業用かんがい施設です🤗
「三つの水利組合による組織「連合 井堰 」が登録を申請し、河内長野市が推薦したものです☺️寺ケ池は、全周２・２キロ、１３ヘクタール、貯水量６０万トンの規模になります😲ほとんど荒れ地に近かった地で、周囲に新田開発がされ、収穫量は１００倍になっています🤗宅地開発が進みましたが、現在も約２５ヘクタールの農地に水を供給している現役のため池です😆
池の周辺には、市が遊歩道やスポーツ施設を設け、寺ケ池公園として憩いの場になっています😉市は「登録を機に、水利組合と連携して施設の保全に努めながら、観光にも活用しています😍
